Assignment: make 1 recipe of buttercream icing and bring on Oct 23 - Mix: 1 cup shortening, 2 Tbsp water, 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until well mixed and creamy
- Add: 1 pound powdered sugar, 1 Tbsp meringue powder (dried egg whites). Beat (slowly at first) until completely smooth.
- Put in an airtight container and store in fridge if made ahead of time.
Reminder: The girls need to bring their club notebook with them to each club meeting.
