| Youth Group - Mission 10.31
Paul exhorts the Corinthians that, "whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). That is the theme of our youth ministry, capturing the way our hearts, minds, time, devotion, and mission is to be about the glory of God. To accomplish this we have built our ministry around the premise that God intends parents and the teenagers to be together in these years, parents discipling and children honoring. Parents are therefore encouraged to come to our monthly corporate meeting at SGC (last Sunday of the month, 6pm), as well as our monthly care group meeting in members' homes (first Sunday of the month, 6pm). Our meetings are designed to help teenagers live out God's will for their lives. Time is given to teach and discuss the Bible, to worship the Lord, to fellowship, and...to eat! Also, throughout the year we have various special meetings, retreats, outings, and service projects to give us a chance to grow in our relationships and to build lifetime memories. |
